British Columbia Ministry of Transportation, South Coast Region Launches 'Project Information Manager'

Burnaby, BC - March 14th, 2003 - Today, the British Columbia Ministry of Transportation launched a rivusglobal.com custom developed Microsoft Access database application to manage and produce specific forms and reports unique to Ministry requirements.

'Project Information Manager', designed to streamline Ministry business processes, will address specific needs within the contract bidding and procurement department.

The project encompassed an end-to-end solution which initally began at the consultation level.

During consultation, application requirements were defined, while also ensuring business rules corresponded with the Ministry of Transportation's user requirements. Consultation included multiple usage scenarios. This ensured that 'Project Information Manager' complied with British Columbia, Ministry of Transportation user input and storage requirements.

Using rivusglobal.com, Inc. for application development provided a professional and experienced approach to the design and normalization of the application's database tables and fields. This resulted in efficient data storage, which was important to Ministry technology leaders.

In addition to the design of the database, rivusglobal.com was responsible for design and development of user input forms and multiple reports.

The application was delivered and deployed meeting the proposed project timeline.
